Clinical Diagnosis or Skin Biopsy
Risk Factors:
- Dietary factors: A poor diet lacking in essential nutrients can contribute to Dadru (itching and skin disorders). Foods that are high in sugar and unhealthy fats can lead to imbalances in the body, making the skin more prone to infections and irritation.
- Lifestyle factors: High levels of stress, lack of proper hygiene, and exposure to irritants can trigger Dadru. Inadequate sleep and dehydration can worsen symptoms.
Complications:
- Itching (Dadru): Severe itching due to skin disorders or fungal infections.
- Eruptions (Kushta): Red or white eruptions on the skin due to infection or allergic reactions.
- Discomfort (Durbalata): Persistent discomfort caused by skin irritation and inflammation.
Epidemeology:
Dadru (Itchy Skin) is often caused by fungal infections or skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis. It is more common in individuals with compromised immunity or poor hygiene practices.
