A condition marked by some or all of the following signs and symptoms: a sensation of heaviness in the body; intense thirst; sleep disturbances; a sweet taste in the mouth; severe dehydration; a feeling of a coated throat; a slimy and sticky sensation in the mouth; fever accompanied by chills; nausea and vomiting; diminished sense of taste; heaviness in the body; swelling in the extremities; a sensation of body orifices being coated with a slushy substance and then dried; orifices feeling parched due to excess kapha; a sensation of thorns in the throat; abdominal bloating; a heavy feeling in the head; the sensation of being wrapped in a wet cloth; fatigue; and digestive issues.
