Sanskrit Name: गण्डमाला
A condition marked by one or more of the following signs and symptoms: hard, flesh-colored nodular swellings on the neck; unctuous texture; brinjal-like shape; deep-set; some may mature and cause mild discomfort; others may leak fluid and lead to intense itching; some may vanish while others reappear; it is chronic in nature; glands resembling the fruit of Zizyphus jujuba (approximately 2.5 to 6 cm), Piper chaba (up to 7 cm), and Embelica officinalis (2 to 2.5 cm). The most accurate diagnosis is tuberculous lymphadenitis.
