Onions are often considered a staple spice in vegetable preparations, and they may assist in regulating blood sugar and lipid levels for many individuals.

In different languages, onion is referred to as follows: “pyaaz” in Hindi, “ganda” in Punjabi, “konda” in Malayalam, and “dungli” in Gujarati. Scientifically, it belongs to the Liliaceae family and the Allium genus. Benefits:
