Description:

Arni, commonly referred to as Agnimantha in Ayurveda, derives its name from the herb’s unique characteristics. Historically, the leaves of this tree were rubbed together to create fire, with “Agni” signifying fire and “Mantha” representing generation—an apt description for this plant. Its scientific name is Clerodendrum multiflorum, and it belongs to the Verbenaceae family. Additionally, it is also known as Premna mucronata.

Benefits:

Arni is an herb that helps in treating digestive issues like bloating, indigestion, and constipation. It is also known for its anti-inflammatory properties and is used to treat respiratory disorders such as cough and asthma.

Arni is used to treat respiratory issues like asthma, cough, and bronchitis. It has expectorant properties that help in clearing mucus from the lungs. Arni is also beneficial for digestive disorders and is used to improve appetite and alleviate constipation.
