Description:

Dhattura (Datura metel), commonly referred to as the Thorn apple plant, is a robust annual herb that can reach heights of up to 3 feet. This plant features a somewhat hairy texture, with dark violet stems and leaves. The leaves are simple, shaped oval to broadly oval, and are typically dark violet in color, arranged alternately along the stems.

Benefits:

Dhattura is used for its sedative properties and is beneficial in treating conditions such as insomnia and anxiety. It also helps with respiratory problems, pain relief, and improving digestion.
