Description:

According to mythology, the earth is composed of five fundamental elements known as panchtatva: fire, earth, air, soil, and water. These elements are also present in humans, animals, and plants. Anthocephalus Indicus, a member of the Rubiaceae family, is commonly referred to as Kadamba in Hindi. This herb is recognized for its therapeutic properties, helping to alleviate various health conditions such as diabetes mellitus, diarrhea, inflammation, and debility. In Sanskrit, it is known by names such as neep, priyak, vrittpushp, and halipriya, while in Gujarati, it is also called Kadamba.

Benefits:

Kantkari (Solanum xanthocarpum) is a key herb in Ayurvedic respiratory care. It is a component of Dashamoola and widely used in treating asthma, bronchitis, cough, and sore throat. Kantkari reduces Kapha accumulation in the lungs, improves voice, and clears mucus. It also aids in managing urinary issues and skin conditions. Its warming and sharp qualities make it an excellent Vata-Kapha pacifier.

Kadamb is an Ayurvedic herb known for its anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and detoxifying properties. It is used in treating skin issues, joint pain, and digestive disturbances.
