Description:

The dwarf mountain pine thrives in conditions with minimal water requirements, high humidity, and abundant sunlight. It typically grows on well-drained, nutrient-poor soils that are deficient in nitrogen. This species is primarily found in rugged bedrock environments, including limestone, dolomites, sandstone, gneiss, and granite, as well as in block fields, alluvial fans, and sand dunes. Its ideal growth temperature ranges from approximately 5 to 35°C.

Benefits:

Pinus (Pinus roxburghii), or Mountain Pine, is used in Ayurveda for respiratory conditions, wound healing, and muscular pain. Pine resin has antimicrobial and warming properties that help clear Kapha congestion and reduce pain. It is often used in oils and balms.
