Description:

Tilparnni, scientifically known as Gynandropsis gynandra, is part of the Capparidaceae family. This herb exists in two varieties: Gynandropsis gynandra and Cleome viscosa. It is particularly effective in addressing Kapha-Vataj disorders. Widely found in tropical regions of Africa, Southeast Asia, and other warm climates, Tilparnni thrives in hotter areas.

The herb’s significance in treating Kapha-Vataj ailments is notable. Key compounds such as Cleomine and Viscosin contribute to its therapeutic properties, enabling it to combat various health issues. Tilparnni is beneficial for conditions like otalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, worm infestations, abscesses, animal poisoning, and more.

Benefits:

Tilparnni (Sesbania grandiflora) is used in Ayurveda for its nourishing and anti-inflammatory properties. It supports respiratory health, skin healing, and balances Vata and Pitta. The leaves and flowers are used in soups and herbal preparations.
