Description:

Akhukarni, also referred to as Karaparnika Bhudaribava in Ayurveda, possesses several notable properties. It is characterized by its pungent (katuksha), cold (seetla), and light (laghu) qualities. Additionally, it exhibits a bitter (katuka) taste in its aftereffects (Vipaka) and is known for its benefits in urinary health (mutrphayaa), phlegm reduction, and as a worm repellent (kreempranod).

Benefits:

Akhuparni is used in Ayurveda to treat respiratory and digestive disorders. It is particularly effective in alleviating cough, asthma, and indigestion. Akhuparni helps to balance the Kapha dosha and promotes better lung function.
