A condition marked by some or all of the following signs and symptoms: extreme thirst; a burning sensation; elevated body temperature; dryness in the mouth; dryness of the palate; fatigue in the thighs; coughing; difficulty breathing; weakness; altered taste; indigestion; hindered bowel movements; obstructed urination; abdominal swelling; vomiting; sneezing; headaches; pain in the chest area; pain around the belly button; anal discomfort; difficulty passing gas; a rigid abdomen; redness of the abdomen; bluish streaks on the abdomen; visible bluish veins on the abdomen; absence of streaks; an umbilicus that protrudes like a cow’s tail; impacted stools in the rectum or anus; the passage of small amounts of feces with difficulty; increased abdominal swelling between the heart and the belly button in the epigastric area; and a fecal odor emanating from the abdomen.
