Nagabala (Sida veronicaefolia) is a hairy herb characterized by its coarse, grayish-brown branches. The leaves are heart-shaped to oval, measuring between 6-14 cm in length and 2-3.5 cm in width, and have sparse hairs. The flowers can be found in the axils, appearing either solitary or in pairs, or small clusters. Initially white, the flowers transition to yellow and eventually develop a brown hue as they mature. The fruits are small and yellow, while the seeds are brown. This herb produces flowers and fruits year-round. Gangeruki and Guda sarkara may refer to two species within the Grewia genus, specifically Grewia populifolia and Grewia hirsuta. Thus, Nagabala is recognized as Sida veronicaefolia.
