Description:

Til, also known as Sesamum indicum, is a herbaceous plant found in India, Africa, and parts of Southeast Asia. The plant grows up to 1 meter tall and produces small white or purple flowers. The seeds of the plant are the primary part used for medicinal purposes. Til is known for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and nutritive properties. The seeds are rich in calcium, iron, vitamins, and omega-3 fatty acids, making them an excellent source of nutrition. Til is used to treat digestive disorders, such as indigestion, gas, and bloating, by stimulating digestive fire (Agni) and promoting better digestion. It is also used to improve skin health and moisturize dry skin due to its hydrating properties. Additionally, Til helps lower cholesterol, support cardiovascular health, and boost immunity. The seeds help balance Vata and Pitta doshas, promoting digestive health, skin health, and overall vitality.

Benefits:

Golden Dock, or Rumex maritimus, offers key therapeutic benefits including its purgative properties that cleanse the bowels and its antipruitic effects that relieve itching. The herb contains beneficial constituents such as flavonoids (rumarin, rutin, hyperin), tannins, and chrysophanic acid, contributing to its pharmacological effects.

Medical Conditions(Relief):

Peet Kanik is primarily used for its digestive benefits. It helps treat indigestion, bloating, and constipation by promoting the secretion of digestive enzymes and improving overall gastrointestinal function. It has antimicrobial properties that help fight infections in the gastrointestinal tract and can aid in soothing symptoms of gastritis. Additionally, Peet Kanik has detoxifying properties that support the liver in processing and eliminating toxins from the body. It is also helpful for enhancing the digestive fire (agni) in Ayurveda, which is essential for proper digestion and metabolism.

Medical Conditions(Avoid):

Peet Kanik should be avoided by individuals with gastrointestinal conditions like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), ulcers, or acid reflux, as it may irritate the stomach lining. It should be used cautiously by pregnant women, as its effects during pregnancy are not well-documented.
