Gudmar, also known as Gymnema sylvestre, is a woody climbing shrub found in the tropical regions of India, Africa, and Southeast Asia. The plant has oval-shaped leaves and produces yellow flowers. The leaves of Gudmar are primarily used in medicinal preparations.
