Description:

Karpura, commonly referred to as “Camphor,” is a white crystalline substance characterized by its potent aroma and flavor. This compound is extracted from the wood of the camphor tree (Cinnamomum camphora), which is part of the Lauraceae family. Camphor is known for its ability to help balance the Kapha dosha within the body. In addition to its medicinal properties, it is also extensively utilized in spiritual practices.

Benefits:

Karpura (Cinnamomum camphora), or camphor, is widely used in Ayurveda for its cooling, antiseptic, and stimulating properties. It balances Kapha and Vata and is often used externally to relieve pain, congestion, and itching. Karpura is also used in inhalations for respiratory relief and in massage oils to improve circulation and reduce inflammation. It invigorates the senses and promotes clarity.
