Description:

Karavira is a sizable, smooth evergreen shrub that produces white latex. This plant is categorized into different varieties based on flower color, including red, yellow, and white. The leaves of Karavira are elongated and robust, measuring approximately 17 cm in length and 1-3 cm in width. Notably, the leaves of the red-flowered variety are dark green, while those of the white-flowered variety are light green.

Benefits:

Karpura (Cinnamomum camphora), or camphor, is widely used in Ayurveda for its cooling, antiseptic, and stimulating properties. It balances Kapha and Vata and is often used externally to relieve pain, congestion, and itching. Karpura is also used in inhalations for respiratory relief and in massage oils to improve circulation and reduce inflammation. It invigorates the senses and promotes clarity.

Karavira is a potent herb used in Ayurveda for its anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. It is often used in managing joint pain, arthritis, and respiratory conditions.

Medical Conditions(Avoid):

Karavira should be avoided due to its toxic properties, especially in high doses. It should be avoided in pregnant women and those with kidney issues.
