Kokilaksha, also known as Asteracantha longifolia, is a water-loving plant found in the tropical regions of India. The plant has long, narrow leaves and produces purple flowers.

Kokilaksha is known for its anti-inflammatory, diuretic, and adaptogenic properties. It is widely used in treating urinary tract infections (UTIs), kidney stones, and bladder issues due to its ability to increase urine flow and aid in detoxification.

The herb is also used to treat digestive issues like gas, bloating, and indigestion by improving digestive fire (Agni) and stimulating the digestive system. Kokilaksha helps reduce inflammation, and is used in treating conditions like arthritis and joint pain.
